Terms of Service

"GoldenStars Boxing," "GoldenStars," "we," "us," and "our" refer to GoldenStars Boxing.

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to purchase Services.

Minors may participate only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian may be required to sign additional documents (including waivers) and accept these Terms on the minor's behalf.

We may set age minimums and skill prerequisites for specific classes, sparring sessions, programs, or bootcamps. These may change over time.

We may offer monthly memberships, drop-ins, and time-limited programs (including bootcamps).

Schedules, coaches, class formats, facility access, and availability may change at any time. We may cancel, reschedule, substitute instructors, or modify class capacity when needed.

Prices and purchase options are shown at checkout or otherwise communicated at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. You agree to provide accurate information and authorization to complete purchases. We do not store full payment card details.

Monthly memberships renew automatically until cancelled.

Cancellation policy: You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

How to cancel: Email contact@goldenstarsboxing.com from the email address used at purchase. Include the member's full name and the membership you want cancelled.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, cancellation does not create a refund for any unused time in the current billing period.

Drop-ins and time-limited programs are typically one-time purchases.

Unless we state otherwise in writing at the time of purchase, drop-ins and programs are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All sales are final. We may, at our discretion, offer a refund or credit in special circumstances if we confirm it in writing.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Some Services may have limited capacity. A registration or booking feature (if offered) is meant to help manage attendance and may not guarantee ongoing availability.

A check-in feature may be offered as a convenience. Unless we explicitly state otherwise for a specific program, check-in is not required.

We do not generally enforce attendance penalties. However, there are no refunds or credits for no-shows, missed sessions, unused sessions, or late arrival.

Participation in boxing, conditioning, and related fitness activities involves physical exertion and inherent risks, including serious injury.

You are responsible for choosing activities appropriate to your condition and skill level. Consider seeking medical advice before starting a new training program.

You agree to follow coach instructions and gym safety rules at all times.

If you participate in sparring or contact training (including non-competitor sparring), you acknowledge:

• Sparring and contact drills increase risk of injury.
• You must follow all sparring rules, coaching instructions, and any equipment requirements.
• We may refuse, limit, stop, or remove anyone from sparring at any time for safety or conduct reasons.

Sparring participation is always voluntary and subject to coach approval and gym rules.

You must behave respectfully and safely. We do not tolerate threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or dangerous conduct.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Services for safety, rule violations, or misconduct. Where permitted, termination may be without refund.

You are responsible for your personal property. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

We may take photos or videos in the gym or at events for training, safety review, or promotional purposes. If you want to opt out of promotional use, contact us at contact@goldenstarsboxing.com.

You agree not to misuse the website. You may not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, scrape content, or use the site for unlawful purposes.

Website content, logos, branding, and materials are owned by GoldenStars or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

Services and the website are provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoldenStars is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. GoldenStars' total liability for any claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid to GoldenStars for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoldenStars, its owners, coaches, staff, and agents from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of Services, or your violation of law.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use of the website or Services means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and applicable laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved in Alberta courts, unless otherwise required.
